Are you running Smartdrv or Lancache with the write caching enabled?
I think you will find that the dos 6.2 emm386.exe to be your problem. Instead of calling for C:\dos\emm386.exe use the windows version (and for himem.sys too) c:\windows\emm386.exe You'll be back to your quick load time after this change. Joe

Ara I'm sorry, but, I didn't really understand your question. I was suggesting using the corel scsi drivers as they may work and they may be smaller. You can also try to load them high if you are using the qemm386.sys. Joe
