Thanks, Ron. Just what I thought. I had heard about the Communicator and the SX-1, but my mother-in-law wanted a CD-ROM drive for her A500+, and they are now selling CD32s at $200, so that might have been an inexpensive way to get a CD-ROM drive. – Joergen

Not really broke, but if you would copy several files from your hard disk to the floppy (e.g. Copy DF1FILES:#? DF1:) then it would corrupt the floppy disk (block 880 and 881). You would have to copy each file separately, but copying a large file would also cause the problem.…
