Robert, look for a copy of WINGIF in the Windows forums. I use it all the time to convert from 256 color .GIFS to 16 color .GIFS… I'm surprised that your program won't load the .GIF from Animator even if only 16 colors are used… Are you using the 'first'…
Look for WinGif (somewhere in the Windows forums) the latest version probably supports DIB's. If not, load the GIF (or whatever) into WinGif, copy the whole thing to the clipboard, and then paste from the clipboard into Toolbook.
