Hey, good deal. I may be calling you.
Understood. thanks for the info.
DAT, eh? thats a good suggestion that we had not thought of. . .is there a way to make direct digital trasnfers of DAT to CD?
Understood.
Understood. Actually, I'm going to be transferring both LPs and old reel to reel tapes. I don't expect an increase in fidelity from these sources, I just want the conveince of having everything on CD.
I am perusing the same goal. E mail me and I'll share my info with you.

Yes, that is one of the things we are going to consider. Prob is we have a lot of stuff that is not available on CD! I'll try to find the thread you mentioned.
What are you trying to do with the software that you don't like? All I a m trying to do is create audio CDs from old tapes and LPs.

Does anyone have any experience or comments about the Pinnical CD-R drive? We are thinking about getting one to record our own audio CDs.

OK! Alm leaving on vacation, but will send this to you shortly after the first of the year. The problem is not just with one file, but just about every digitized picture that I try to print. Thanks in advance for the offer to help.
Great. Tell me about it: How high is the resolution? Does the image looked better than that produced with a frame grabber or digitizer? How large can the original be? Thanks!
Yes, I called tech support, but they were unable to help. They admitted that they knew about the problem, and said that it might corrected in Pagesetter III, maybe. Meanwhile I'm stuck with less than ideal printouts. Other than that, this is a good program.
Hey, thanks for all of this really excellent info!
Great. the Migraph unit sounds like what I'm looking for. Do you have an address or phone for them? Thanks for the poop on Whap

Thank you, thats what I'll do.
Well, I got Modeler3D today, and also got an ad for Art Dept! You have given me some really useful information and I am looking forward to animation sucess! Again, thanks for all of the help! -+WMS3+-
Say, thanks! Does this ADPro program let you resize anims, so I cound generate the anime in V3D, then resize it in ADPro, then load it in DPIII? By the way, I going to order Modler#d and Pro Motion. -+WMS3+-
No, tell me about it! Thanks, WMS exzit
You may well be right.
I tried setting the page size in dpaint. this would work for individual filws, but I still could not make it read an anime. Your idea about saving individual files and resizing is a good one, although work intensive, I will try it. I was hoping a program like Anim_Magic…
It sounds pretty good. I will check it out!
Yes, but I wonder which modler is best? Thanks, WMS
But then I would have to buy two programs. One to model, then yours, to convert. Right now, I think I will check out other routs, but I may thank you!
Thanks for the good info. Yes, I want to suck animations made with the other program into dpaint, then resave them out. Right now, in overs can, dpaint wont suck in videoscape 2.0 anim files. I have to go to non-overscan. No matter, you've told me what I want to…
#Animation Help Request!
Message #6270
I am trying to locate a 3D modeling program that will output object files that can be read by Videoscape 3D. Alternatively, can someone suggest a better (easier to use) 3-D animation program? Ideally, I would like something that is also compatible with Deluxe Paint III.
Thankyou, thank you! Even though I have Workbench 1.3, SetClock RESET worked just fine and my clock is as good as new!
Oh, yes. we use the NTSC input on the 1084 all the time. In fact thats the one thing I like about it. I can switch between the RGB and video input via a switvch on the front. Whatever I upgrade to will have to have this feature. Thanks.
Thanks! I don't know which version I have. Will reboot and see.

#Better monitor help
Message #1065
We are considering replaceing our Commodore 1084 monitor. As we use our system for video, we want a unit that will accept NTSC video as well as RGB. Can anyone give any suggestions for a unit with a better display than the 1084?
Nah, I suspect the "new video modes" will require new cards, new software, new genlock, et al. I'm happy with what I have (more or less) just want a better monitor than the crummy=dore! Anyone else got any suggestions? Thanks, WMS3
