#160724 MagicWB 2.0 Message #160752
From: Dennis O'Neill Amiga User Forum · Using 2.0 – 3.0 August 22, 1994 6:42 PM
MagicWB 2.0 should be at least twice as fast 1.2p on your A600. That alone should be worth the investment for someone with an un-accelerated system. The blue background is an AGA thing and won't work on the A600. It looks great on my A1200 though 🙂 Dennis ….on AutoPilot

From: Dennis O'Neill Amiga User Forum · Amiga Hardware February 28, 1994 5:20 PM
Gary, The Sony GVM1311Q is a 14" and will handle all the Amiga display modes. It's about $1000.00, plus I think the base is extra. If you can do without Super72 and the 15kHz modes take a look at the Sony CPD1430 or the NEC 4FGe (about $550.00 and $700.00).…

Do you have HyperCache? I've had it do some funny things on my A1200. I had to change the pre-fetch to 2 to solve a problem with GIF and JPEG files causing a lock-up while loading. AIBB will not usually run with Hyper-Cache on either. It does the same thing…

Iain, The first thing I would try is getting rid of that ConfigScanner command and put it in the user-startup if possible. It's a VERY bad idea to run ANYTHING before the setpatch command. Just put a ";" in front of the line to "comment" it out of the startup…
From: Dennis O'Neill Amiga Vendor Forum · MicroBotics January 27, 1994 5:57 PM
Iain, I doubt that the board is the problem. Have you made any other changes to the startup-sequence? Most IPrefs errors seem to be traceable to changes made in the startup-sequence that should have been made in the user-startup. It could also be that your AutoXA program is corrupted in…
From: Dennis O'Neill Amiga Vendor Forum · MicroBotics January 24, 1994 7:27 PM

#97586 monitor for A1200?! Message #97655
From: Dennis O'Neill Amiga User Forum · Amiga Hardware April 28, 1993 9:05 PM
Your monitor tastes sound similar to mine. I think the only one you would be satisfied with is the Sony GVM-1311Q. It does 15-36kHz with no borders and has the typical excellent Sony image. Now the bad news. It sells at a discount for $1000.00 plus the price of a…

Rick, Put the "VGAOnly" driver in your Monitors drawer. This should solve the centering problem. Commodore is supposed to have new monitor drivers and a new Overscan preferences program out to cure this the right way but most dealers don't seem to have them yet. Dennis ….on AutoPilot

From: Dennis O'Neill Amiga User Forum · Amiga Hardware February 26, 1993 9:42 PM
Jonathan, The amperage rating of a power supply is only a concern if it is too low. The unit hooked to the supply determines to amount of draw. The rating of the supply only tells how many amps it can provide if called on to do so. Thus, a 4…
