Gail Wellington, General Manager, CATS posted a message on BIX the otherday about the problem, and the Service Centers supposedly have a Tech Note or some such with all the poop. Supossedly 6.2 motherboards fix the problem. SO: if you are haveing trouble with a 6.0/6.1 motherboard, see your service…
YES, the SuperAgnus is usable on ALL US A500's and A2000's. The only machines that will have problems are the 1000 till Greg Tibbs board comes out, and the GERMAN A2000 (with 2 rca plugs on back instead of 3). Larry ROsenman
readysoft was not doing "The Right THing" and got burned when C= fixed a hole in the OS

#HD floppy on Amiga?
Message #66829
I don't believe that the amiga can support the 1.44's due to chip constraints for timing (Paula?)

I have a 4.2 motherboard. COntact YOUR dealer for any info on what is going on. There was recently a LARGE discussion in various places on the problems with any rev 6 (the .x meant ANY character). I have no further information other than SOME rev 6 and above motherboards…
have you looked at HandShake? it HAS the printScreen key, and does VT220 emulation Larry
what rev is your motherboard?? there is a KNOWN problem with 6.x mother boards and SOME peripherals, it is a MOTHERBOARD problem. Larry ROsenman

I keep hearing about ProWrite 2.5, I am a registered user of ProWrite 2.0 and have not received an upgrade/update offer. I did move back in February to Dallas, but My mail IS forwarded… If you need my address, please send me EMail Larry Rosenman se
you could have saved $100 by ordering it from Lattice with the serial number or disks for 3.0x Larry
1) The executable contains all the information that is contained in Aztecs dbg file as well as the object. Bear in mind that the whole executable is NOT loaded (I dont believe). 2) There is a documentation update coming with the OFFICIAL patch that contains most of the info from…

Lattice C V5.0 PATCH
Message #27352
Lattice has released, On LBBS (312-916-1200) and BIX, a pre-release version of a patch to the V5.0 compiler. This fixes a number of problems with the compiler, assembler, linkler, libraries and some headers. The final version of the patch will, as far as I know, be sent to all registered…
Caligari is PROBABLY making ILLEAGAL direct ROM calls, some of the libraries moved and had their size and location change within the ROM..
That will change in 1.3 … Larry Rosenman via Whap! 1.4R
I would have one of the SYSOPs pull it down, and see if they can get it to work, or get a more current version that will compile on the current Lattice Compiler. I think that the file may not be complete, and there is NO executable in that ARC…
GOMF 3 is VERY useful without the button, more memory/resources are freed as well as vector checking. I feel it is a MAJOR improvement over 2.2 Larry Rosenman via Whap! 1.4R
I happen to have 3 Meg (1 meg on the motherboard, and a A-2052). As Larry Phillips says, MaxTransfer does NOT eat memory, but my 300 buffers of AddBuffers does. Larry Rosenman via Whap! 1.4R

#The GOMF Button?
Message #12455
Hi David: I am one of the lucky Beta Testers for GOMF 3.0, and did NOT add the button for exactly the reasons you are leary of it. In the final form, it plugs in UNDER Paula, and I for one do not like pulling $60+ custom chips out and…
What MaxTransfer does is set the MAX amount that can be transfered in ONE request to the driver. If the DISK is NOT Fragmented, the MaxTransfer helps. I run mine with MaxTransfer set at 204800 so I gets up to 204K at a clip. I also run with 300 buffers,…
MaxTransfer is the total number of bytes FFS can transfer at ONE time from the drive (I. E. it uses MultiSector Writes and READS when MaxTransfer is set above 512. As for recommendations, GET THE ENHANCER BOOK (With 1.3 When Released). NO FFS is NOT in the HDDISK, it is…
RE: Program load Times with FFS: Have You set MaxTransfer in the MountList to some value > 512? I have mine set to 204800, and programs LOAD much quicker! This is on a 2090, with Omega 9 FFS, and the 34.4 HDDISK, and an ST-251 (40 ms)

The other thing to do, is NOT Execute ANYTHING out of the Startup Sequence. The REAL Culprit is LoadWB doin an INHIBIT, and then returning before the INHIBIT is OFF totally. The 1.3 LoadWB has a New Flag (DELAY), which will fix this (RSN). PS: I saw a notice on…

FORMAL CO would be nice, after they get established… Give them a month to get their act together, get policies set, etc. Then a formal CO may be VERY useful and informative! Larry Rosenman

Sure Can.. The Alps can not do 360DPI. The EPSONQ driver sends a Density set string (ESC*+40H+n1+n2) of 40H and the printer says to itscX I haven't the foggiest idea what this turkey;Bnts, so I am gonna print trash… See page 9-82 of the Alps ALQ-200/300 Printer Manual. Larry Rosenman
I have an ALPS ALQ-224… You will love it.. With the 1.3 Printer Software (RSN unless you have one of the programs that ships it) use the EpsonQ driver with any density from 1-3. I only wish the color ribbons were cheaper. Larry Rosenman
