I wrote a bit about what the DevCon notes SAY. I did not do much more than collect the various pieces from several parts of the notes and tie them together. The information is scattered over three or four sections, as I recall.
They were especially insistent that users be able to use fonts larger than 8 point, since the high resolution screens don't look all that great with the 8 point fonts, and most people prefer at least 11 points for hi res.
