Actually, you can do most things *faster* in pc-relative mode. There is no speed penalty (as there shouldn't be) for writing code that's both relocatable and non-self-modifying This is in keeping with modern programming theory, too.

Conferees appearing after the 19th chair take turns as they speak sharing seat 20. This can get hairy in big conferences (40 or 50), so I'll be looking for a new approach with the Amiga VMCO. I'll probably use some sort of LRU routine.

Projects sounds ok to me, though it's too early to say what direction this Sig's sections are all gonna take. VMCO is coming along at a slow but sure pace. Time is truly our biggest enemy…sigh.

Please get in touch with Bill Bond 74435,160 before you do this. He's quite knowledgable regarding MacBinary and is about to propose a standard for Amiga Binary. No sense in having competing standards. If you guys can work out a standard, we'll all benefit.
