PS… some folks have suggested a good way to make bmps from the window DC. Great ideas and very clever. Turns out I have to do some palette manipulation while I have control of the flics so I gotta use my code anyway…

well phil, since no one took the time to answer I will, I have had to re-write the dll so that I had control over the bitmaps. I guess I should put the code up here for free so everyone else can use it… what do you think? phil

OK!!! I got a good player working with aaplay.dll but my app wants to be able to prep each individual frame for the SNES. I heed to get the bitmaps that aaplay makes. But there seems to be no access to those handles. Any ideas??
Glen… Turning off "CASE SENSITIVE EXPORTS AND IMPORTS" in the bcw4.51 options | Linker settings did the trick.Then Linker now can find aaOpen(). Not sure why. Any light shed would be helpful…. Thanks again…

I have a windows app that I wrote for our SNES development team that reads Deluxe Animator files.. they are delta endcoded file format. I have been asked to add the capability to read Flic files from 3ds. Can you point me to file formats, code samples, etc?

Everyone I know complains about diamond drivers. Historically they are unstable. I have three diamond cards, speedstar, stealth 24, and viper. Speedstar has been a pain in the past, cured with driver updates. Stealth 24 is the ONE card that exhibits a different response to my software calls to StretchBLT()…

my experience with the Stealth line of cards has been nightmarish . Everyone complains about Diamonds drivers. Boy , I would HATE to be the guy responsible for writing those.

What is the least expensive way to go for a VTR controller. I know that the V-Lan stuff isn't cheap. Is there any other way?. Perhaps a software only?? I have a Panasonic AG7750. Thankns in advance.
