Hi, My local computer shop (near Brussels, Belgium) was very impressed by tS, and asked if I could find out if there is a french-language version….. Well, …is there? Thanks . Alistair.

Terry, my understanding is that the Millenium does support texture mapping, but not perspective-corrected. Loyd Case

From: Caligari Gfx User Group A Forum · trueSpace UG May 30, 1995 6:19 PM
The info from Mr. Obermueller is correct. The only free upgrades are from the English 2.0 to the German 2.0 version. You were better off buying the English version of trueSpace at a special price at CeBIT and upgrading than if you had waited to buy version 2 straight out.…

This sounds like an interesting project. We are working on a 3D environment that will be accessible over the World Wide Web and would be interested in seeing some of the furniture. If we include any, you would get full credit, of course. The tutorial for trueSpace2 will include tutorials…

We're working in a high-performance 3-D-graphics solution supporting the Caligari obejct format. In this context we're looking for artists who did create (esp. European – german/italian) furniture objects, and for furniture manifacturers working with AutoCAD, truespace or a comparable software in contruction process to exchange experiences about time and costs…

trueSpace2 will be accelerated by any card for which there is a 3DR driver available (including Glint chips). This includes the Impression Plus and to our knowledge will also include the Millenium (couldn't hurt to check with Matrox though to get a date for the availablity of the driver). I…

TS 2.0 exports Message #12834
Will TS 2.0 be able to export to binary 3DS format ? I love TS but most tools I use need either .3DS or .DXF files. I use DXF for now but I loose colors and textures in the conversion which is a major pain. JD -Jean-Daniel Begin

Regarding converting animations to AVI and Indeo "And they will say, run it in 24 bit mode :-)" I hope they will have a bit more to say on the topic….but last I checked you've little choice with Indeo…its is a 24 bit CODEC irrespective of the depth you display…

Hallo Herr Beckersjuerg!

I'm going to buy the new Video card from Matrox the MGA Millennium. It is the successor board of the MGA impression+ card. You can get it with 2-8MB of the new Window RAM. The W-RAM is even faster then the V-RAM. The Millennium is also fast in DOS and…

Hey, you've given me new inspiration! For our trueSpace CD, I'd like to request from anyone listening here, that they send in songs/music/sound F/X too! Many trueSpace people need that kind of stuff for backgrounds, etc.. So, if you have created and *own* the rights to it, then please send…

Well, obviously, this is impossible, since Caligari isn't ready. Could be that they're creating a list, and will "back-order" you, or something similar.. I'd be worried about a place that says they'll ship before a product is ready..
