>>I have always beeen somewhat amused by the high price of the shareware fee. In fact, the shareware fee is double what we end up with for GPFax after it goes through the distribution chain!

I asked this question a couple of years ago, got the answer, and have now mislaid it. So once again: Could somebody please give me the dipswitch settings on the Chinon CDX431 CDROM Drive? I promise I'll put the information someone safe this time. Pete

#187470 Final Copy to GPFAX Message #187484
From: Peter Jones Amiga User Forum · Word Processing/DTP March 4, 1995 4:26 PM
Dan, Can you give more info on the problem you are having in sending Final Copy files to GPFax? Normally, if you have GPFax running with the printer option turned on, then simply PRINTing from Final Copy will cause GPFax to intercept and create the fax. Pete

#181960 Term 4.2 Message #182001
From: Peter Jones Amiga User Forum · Communications January 15, 1995 9:43 AM
Christopher, Thanks. A small error on my part. The file is called GTLAYOUT.LIBRARY. I tried it in libs: but it made no difference. A text file in the archive stresses that gtlayout.library must be in the same directory as Term. I have TERM 4.0, which also has a gtlayout.library in…

Brian, To be fair, I did also say (in another message, I think) that I remember some of the genuine MAC models were also very finnicky with 800K disks. I see it as a fairly minor annoyance, since everything for the Mac seems to come on 1.4. Pete
