For your info, the Hitachi CDR3750 drive automatically supports XA sectors if your driver doesn't prohibit it. We checked it at the hardware level. I've been using PCD with it on the Mac, although it is single session only.

Hitachi dumped all the audio boards for the 1502s when they moved to Atlanta and no one had asked for the upgrade in 4 years. A complicated upgrade with lots of wires and cost was about 200$ installed. Most of the audio units were sold by fall of 87.
most of the compatibility testing on the os/2 driver was done with current drives like the CDR3700 and 1700SA. You may be able to get a replacement os/2 driver which is supposed to fix that for the CDR3500 in about a week or so.
Set the drive ID switch fully CCW to set the ID to #0 not to NDS. The drive responds to all IDs when run NDS. You can also add /n:1 to set one drive. The os/2 help docs should have mentioned this. Bill

Good reasons all. I suppose that with the regular windows hidden that the win application setup programs will work. When I was set for dual boot, they used the normal windows and I had to migrate them to win/os2.
