David, I bought it (then downloaded the newer version, from here)..Registering it probably requires you to "buy" it i'm guessing… It is better than ADPRO although ADPRO is better than the Epsion defaults from Dpaint. Studio was pretty cheap to buy, and I am most pleased with the results. The…

Don't worry 'bout the argument.. Jerry has always been vocal. I hope that Cineworks works just fine for you.. Good Luck.. -Tom-
jerry, thanks for the listing of paint programs.. I am really interested in a 2-d paint program with integrated animation cabability (not so much interested in structured drawing programs) The animation capability is a must. Which one of those programs listed will let me do that? The PowerPC was mentioned…
What can I say? I agree with you just about 100%. maybe 100.02% -Tom-
But you are contesting my opinion for contesting your opinion.. wierd.. Do you know of a program for the power PC that runs in native mode that does what dpaint does for under $1000.. Please tell me. I really do what to know. (love to get it for work).. Will…
I guess it depends soley on his use of the computer.. If he is looking to do toaster stuff and thats it… It makes sence to buy it.. If he is looking for a NLE system well thats a different price range and maybe Amiga isn't the right choice.. I…
So what kind of computer do you use for video? Do you use another for VIDEO work? That was what he was asking about… Price for performance the mac/Pc just isn't here yet.. If he was going to buy twenty amigas for a business opertunity I think I would agree…
This is an Amiga forum. you would think tthe people on this forum would promote their computer. People who ask questions to this forum realize that. (or should). Every question anyone asks about Amiga you tell them to look elsewhere…Always.. No if or and buts.. either C= liquidation really upset…
Need to run on 3-party graphics cards.. Add path following of animbrushes (ala deluxe video) Picture morphing? Waterbrush painting…(at least on AGA/3-party boards. Simple Sound triggering off an animation frame? Arex input/output?? the last two is because Dpaint is more than a static paint program.. -Tom-

Was nice of Jim to offer though…
'm curious too.. Been pretty quiet.. Haven't metioned it since the conference.. No news good news? All hush hush? -Tom-
So you grabbed lots of of the shelf programs and used them as the test bench stimulus on the xylinks.. Ya I can believe weirdness in programming from all those programs.. But what Should have happened was that the original designer of the chip should have spec'ed out what he…

Ben , 'fraid not.. The FPU is there and running.. I am running on the edge though I changed the processor xstal to 28Mhz which works with everything else but maybe is causing it die on IMrt (I know it's bad, I will check it out with the ol 25mhz…

running simulations on xylinks(or that matter any VLSI) for a decent check will take months or more! (I am a chip weenie, what can I say?, it pays the bills!) Up front specs for a chip has Gotta be done! I have learned the hard way! What we try to…
That is a problem.. I had to do a conversion of a chip that the designer left the company and if had *any* documentation he took it with.. and it took several months just to get the *bloody* thing speced out.. I don't have too megs 'cause my Flicker fixer…
Good.. Glad to hear it… Good luck with every thing.. -Tom-

I meant in your gate array version (Akiko) you could add a turbo-version of a PIA interface that you switch to by adding a bit somewhere.. The defaut of this bit would be the normal PIA that you have now, but setting this bit would gain acess to a faster…
Doing a CIA is simple in any gate array chip.. The interface to the outside world and to the processor is the limiting factor.. No doubt that the present CIA could be speed up tremenduosly though.. -Tom_ by the way, does IMRT really want 2-M of chip ram?
Thanks for the info… I understand that a basic flyer (when it's aval) will be on the order of $4K without *any* HD and it requires at least 1G HD and would like another 1G HD.. Sound is supposed to be compat. with sunrise(i think) I have DCTV and 030…
I'l give it a try.. PQ for the day.. the values in compose morph for set controls for dctv (not the film size) should be 736 x 484.. for a full screen morph, correct? (will be on vaKay for a week so I will check after mem. day) -Tom-
Ya it might be at that…
Think didn't the last C64 (the Atari-800 too) have luma and croma video outputs.. -Tom-
Please let me know when its ready… sounds like like it's an infra-red controller.. probably good nuff for whatt I'm doing… -Tom-

Thanks.. I didn't key off that it does the conversion on the fly.. From all the responses I got the answer to this thread is YES… -Tom-
Thanks for the tip.. my normal sequence preceds that with "cntrl" . so close and ytet so far… (I did have it freeze on me when I returned to IM, once though, couldn't move the cursor!) -Tom-
John just going on record as I don't like em.. maybe because they cause grief to proper user and a pirate user will probably crack it and then use their version without the dongle.. (it's a problem though!) -Tom-
Hey that was quick! I think you are right! I really think I need both but can only get one.. Thus my delimma -Tom-
wow everyone is on PAR! It does seem to be the thing to get.. SO when you store the frams to PARS HD it converts them automatically? neat.. what do store your source data on sysquest? or DAT tapes? I don't want to lose the originals.. Will coping the PARS…
oops.. sorry 'bout that… continuing real world = cheap.. cheap = cheap for me.. cheap for me != PAR ($2200) SUNRISE ($1200) SFC ($300) DAT BACKUP ($1000) and then have my wonderfull looking PAR anims stored on VHS when DCTV is the same order of video quality that my deck…
10 Yet another PAR vote… Couple of things to reply to though… 1) I don't have a toaster, use imagine, 2.0 at least won't directly render to PAR 2) have comsumer Control-L sony decks ($4-500) 3) have DCTV 4) have dss-8 5) can play anims & Iff-8 in close to…
