Steve, agreed on the cubes themselves not fitting in. I don't know what the logistics behind them being that way were, but Perry is the man to ask.

Here you go again. It's the software, not the computer itself that is lacking.

Louis, I aven't rendered it "fluttering" yet. I encountered a bug with using more than one STENCIL. When that is fixed (should be by now), I will render the animation. Currently I am creating objects for future projects. GreG

Henry, since you brought up CubeMaster I'll respond. It is NOT Copy protected, and it Multitasks quite well. If you click into another window it pauses itself.

Henry, if you want to use Interlink go get your ST back. There ain't no such beast for the Amiga yet. But to say that you can do more on a 512K ST than you can on an Amiga with 512K is bullpucky! The problem is not the Amiga or…

Lately, I have found that Dpaint will cause one consistent GURU in Turbo Silver. If Dpaint has been run either before, during, or after you run Silver, Silver will GURU in the editor when selecting the rightmost menu. A warm-boot still affects Silver. A cold-boot is required to clean it…

I never said that they are 'being lazy, devious people who want to crash your computer'. I'm not flaming them for that. I'm flaming them because they haven't done anything about it in over a year. With such type of productivity software, it should not have "major" bugs such as…

Scott, not sure what the going prices are these but take a look at the Micron 2Meg boards (designed by ASDG), and the ASDG 8MI. I have both and am very happy with them. I'm sure someone will jump in with the prices.

Steve, there is a text file that tells you how to deprotect an AmigaBasic file. I believe it's in DL9. I am writing this offline, so if you have trouble finding it let me know.

Vic, when you finally win a game turn your speakers up LOUD! 🙂 There is a great tune at the end….very nice! But then, you wouldn't expect less from a game that already has the BEST sound effects around! 🙂 GreG

Ben, after using Dpaint you just "warm-boot" or Cold boot? Dpaint does at least one thing to the system that requires a COLD BOOT. Something to do with the mouse events (or something like that).

Steve, other than the File requestor and Font menu problems, I have no problems with Dpaint…and I use Dpaint for hours on end. Thats not to say that you aren't running into problems though. I just wanted to balance things out a bit. 🙂

Many of my art, picture and brush directories have more than 100 files in them. The Dpaint requestor BUG may be "obscure" to some, but a major pain to others. After working HOURS on a picture I go to save it. Much to my HORROR, I lose all that work.…

Well, now with SHINY you don't need to worry about an object picking up the background color to any large extent, if at all.

Louis, Ahhhh…..I have an option called SHINY. Instead of creating a REFLECTIVE – NORMAL object, you create a SHINY objects. What it does is "reflect" the intensities of light, rather than objects. This way, you CAN create GOLD, or SILVER tones on ANY colored background.

Robert, the animation itself must be loaded into Memory to be viewed. But with Silver's format, you can save the file accross disks. So, if you have an animation on two disks, the player will first read in the first part from Disk1, then ask you to insert the next…

Louis, NICE job on SLOGO! It looks great! Question….how did you get the "silver" look to the logo? Did you use the "SHINY" attribute? Or did you use the "NORMAL" attribute in conjunction with reflectivity? It should be dazzling on a darker background…but as it is I's fantastic! 🙂
