I did what you said to do and now it onl;y recognizes DF0. I was going to try to put the jumper back on J301 but the jumper broke, and it was the only one I had. I'm beginning to hate this. —Mike

I don't know if it's high density; they're both Chinon FB-354s, both came standard with an A2000 (one each). They have the jumper config you mentioned, so I'll give it a try and let you know. —Mike

I put a jumper on J301, but it is still screwy. If I only have one of the two drives connected to the multipin connector (either drive on either of the two connectors), that drive works fine (as df0:). When both are plugged in neither work. —Mike

If you want S-VHS quality, you nedd an S-VHS genlock. Some convert the incoming video to composite, do the genlock magic, then reconvert back to super. It works, but is not as good as pure super. Neriki makes an external ganlock with S-VHS also, for about the same price as…

Pretty neat. Yes, I would be willing to send the latest EDLP in return for a screen credit. I've worked on literally dozens of feature films, but only got personal credit on John Carpenter's "Prince of Darkness". I did some graphics programming on the Amiga for it, and they showed…

If he has EDLP version less than 3.20, then he might run into some problems with AmiLink. AmiLink uses (or used) ARexx to communicate with EDLP, and there were some bugs. I've fixed what I hope are all of the ARexx bugs. I'd really like to know if he has…

MicroIllusions still handles EDLP, sort of. When they get a call for the update, they refer the customer to me. What I will do is email you the addendum to the manual that describes the additional features and bug fixes in version 3.27, which is what it is up to.…

I've considered the project for about three years now. I haven't found a publisher willing to invest in it, and I'm too broke. Check out "PicBase" somewhere in the libs here; it was to be a story-board front-end for EDLP. Also, EDLP has secret control-key commands that will control a…

Sorry to hear about that. Seems to be a lot of it going around these days. AmiLink used to be shipped with my edit list program (EDLP). They didn't pay me for it. I believe they have since copied, er, come up with their own. Ain't the Amiga software business…

PicBase is like ImageFinder. I wrote it long before I heard of ImageFinder. It does some things IF doesn't, like actually moving, deleting and copying the files, but doesn't do some things IF does. I've been getting a fairly good response (in shareware terms), so will probably be adding the…
