#SCSI-2 Disks on A3000?

Does anyone know if SCSI-2 disks can be used on an Amiga 3000, running Amiga Unix 2.1. This is a 3 year old machine, and I do not believe the controller is a SCSI-2 controller. Just curious if anyone knew of any problems using SCSI-2 with this machine? -Jay Pedersen
I don't believe a "CD-ROM driver" is required. At least if a SCSI CD-ROM is used. I think the question is whether the file system "hsfs" – I believe that is it – for high sierra file system, is supported. -Jay Pedersen

I had the following error when using lex, I don't think it is a lex error though – looks more like the operating system sending out a warning: NOTICE: pvn_fail: page list not empty! – plist 4005E8Ac (called from 0x7875428, pid 2) Anyone have a clue what this means?
