You should be able to type the file's name and the program will execute. What were you trying to type? If you're getting read/write errors on your disks, it's possible that you're popping the disks out of the drives too quickly. You've got to wait until the light on the…

The Developer's Kit is only available from CBM, but the librarian of a local user's group tells me that he's allowed to give the includes & Amiga.lib to members. Can't verify that since I'm not a member & don't know CBM's policy on this, but you might want to ask…

Barry, These freely distributable compilers CANNOT include amiga.lib and the includes that you need. You need to send to Commodore for the Native Developer's Kit ($20) which includes those. These things are copyrighted by Commodore, and the authors of the compilers are not authorized to distribute them. Betty

#PDC compiler Message #3144

Does the Publicly Distributable C compiler (PDC) online here include ABSOLUTELY everything necessary to write, compile, and run C programs? (I'm asking this question because I currently have a C compiler which seems to include everything necessary except amiga.lib. Unfortunately, without this one file, the compiler is about 99% useless.)
