>> Yep, just one wing; nature tends toward symmetry, and I just wanted to break up some of that so it'd look more 'made' than 'born', if you see what I mean. > Must…destroy…mankind…(watch beeps) ooh, lunchtime! ;^). Great minds think alike, eh?
>> Have you tried Imagine under OS/2 and have you tried turning the DMPI support off for the session.

>> Use planar mapping from the side of the object, in this case the head.
>> By Jove, you've narrowed it down to a mere zillion possibilities ;^)!!!! Actually, to get specific, it's sorta based on an ant lion (the head was much broader initially). > That's what this was; an exercise in modeling w/Real3D. Turned out passing fair, I think.
>> I've been busy describing and pushing them to put in a feature for creating accurate wrapped image maps. Looks like a utility to facilitate this will be implemented in 3.3.
>> Thanks…can you guess what animal I based it on? >>Maybe I try something like that. Why not ;^)?
Great Reply, John. You really made me think about how good this would actually be. If there ever was a standard file format it would have to be updated constantly. Every time a company created a new effect like bones. Also with bones there are several ways it is implemented…

>> By the way, I remember that "just" plugging in the SIMMs was the _hard_ part! There's a certain amount of finesse required and a certain amount of brute force, and you have to be very careful not to overflex the mother board. Of course, I may be more easily…
>> are a few very simple things that POV does that I would like to see in Imagine. First of these is the ability to stop a trace and then return to it. > I suppose when WinImagine comes out, we won't need this, since we will be able to…

Mike, I have a simple request (at least it seems simple to me) and don't want to start a whole new thread to do it. Would it be possible to set the AA setting in the project editor? I would think leaving the old aa or new aa and level…
