I have found that PHA$AR is pretty good. The current version is 4.09 I think, and it is marketed by Psygnosis. The new tax version will be available in about 3 weeks.

You will find that anything that reduces contrast will help. Way back, when I used an A1000, I used to use a piece of smoke colored Lucite over the screen. Dark glasses also work (but not as well). So, you could try the above while you are waiting to upgrade

Paul, I understand that Byte would be more than happy to have free lance articles. The reason we don't see more about the Amiga is that there is no champion on their staff & they simply don't know that much about the machine.
