#HELP w/ C Ltd SCSI Message #29997
From: RICH MEDVED Amiga User Forum · Amiga Hardware July 25, 1991 12:59 PM
Anyone have any idea where I can get the s/w to configure an old C Ltd. SCSI? I've got the hardware but can't find my s/w disk and, as we all know, C Ltd. is no longer in business.
From: RICH MEDVED Amiga Arts Forum · Hot Topics/DM Mania June 16, 1990 1:57 PM
"CP/M is dead and gone, what does that tell you?" Well, for one thing, it tells me that there is no relationship between obsolete technology and shareware. The Model T is gone too but seems to me they were sold, not given away. Talk about corrupting facts to fit a…
#58113 CBM Red Ink Message #58161
From: RICH MEDVED AmigaTech Forum · Hot News and Rumors July 21, 1989 2:35 PM
Some people sure live in a dream world. Even at the prices CBM charges, their profit is MUCH lower than any of the major IBM clone makers or Apple. As a dealer, I can tell you that the retail profit is so low that we no longer consider ourselves as…
#58059 HP deskjet Plus Message #58067
From: RICH MEDVED AmigaTech Forum · Talk to the Trade July 20, 1989 8:43 PM
My understanding is that the Plus requires a different driver that the one used on the earlier Desk Jet. Might want to look into that.

You could make it part of the installation. However, you might check on that here. Seems that if a window opens in the front, and it's a new activity that you've purposely started, that you'd like that task to be active. At the store I manage, Computer Quest in WA,…
#51087 WPCorp & Amiga Message #51304
From: RICH MEDVED AmigaTech Forum · Hot News and Rumors May 31, 1989 1:16 AM
The strange thing is that I seem to remember one of the versions working that way. Is it just bad recall or did they change it around twice?
#47430 #WPCorp & Amiga Message #50682
From: RICH MEDVED AmigaTech Forum · Hot News and Rumors May 27, 1989 1:54 PM
Lynn, one thing I'd really like to see is: When printing a program from within WP, have the print screen come up active. You don't know how amny times I've entered a 'g' in my document when trying to send a {G}o to the printer.
BOP and external RAM Message #43816
From: RICH MEDVED The Amiga Forum · Games December 14, 1986 10:00 PM
Has anyone else tried Balance of Power with external ram? When I do, it reminds me of Textcraft — there is no pointer. Since it uses overlay files, fixhunk won't fix it. Has anyone seen a version of fixhunk that will work on BOP?

Yeh, Marc, we have seen several instances where Guru msg. come up. Our user group, WAG, has 11 or 12 individuals that have experienced these problems. Through a local dealer, we have passed info including Guru #, activities engaged in, and other pertainent ifo to Master Design and Mindscape. So…

functions.h was included in the file. I also tried compliling with +L switch to force long ints. In one instance, using Read() and Write() for console IO, everything flowed until the first write was encounted. At that time, the string was written to the CRT but didn't stop at the…

I have no porblem with the $20 cost. But then too, I'mm running an accounting package that lists for over $2000. The only "complaint" I have is: why does it take 4-6 weeks to get the non-CP version. Surely you have some idea of the number of responses that you'll…

Speed? They're telling me to expect 70-80% of PC. I'm with you on the difference — 6800 vs 8088, so I'd expect to see it come in around 60-70%. There's A LOT of converting that's going to be going on. Their other comments are to expect full color and graphics.…

A strange thing about setting color choices is that the 256 version will use the colors that you set from Preferrences, but the 512K version ignores Pref. settings. You're the first person that I've talked to that actually likes the white screen/black letters — that's usually one of the first…

Don, I think we'll see a lot of activity with this basic. After all, Mbasic is the most common (popular) one around; and with this version being so close to the same syntaxing as the MAC, I'm sure that there will be a lot of porting over from the MAC.…

Here are my comments, Donald. I do like some things, but feel that TC has some serious deficiencies. I realize that Textcraft (TC) is an entry level word processor, but there are some serious limitations even for a "kiddie" program. 1. Why does it insist on setting the left margin…

Absolute draw/move? Will you be supporting relative movement also or won't that be possible. Guess the best thing to do is wait until you publish the specs and then dive it. Did you notice that the cover of Mortimore's "Amiga Programmer's Handbook" (Sybex) has a picture that looks vaguely familar?…
