Mike, What kind of sound? If you mean "Red Book" (digital audio, such as straight from a DAT) that's one thing. Sound files like .WAV or MIDI are treated differently. Different tools, different kinds of discs. Kathy [GO ONEOFF]

The SoundBlaster Pro also has problems if the three magic Windows drivers are not loaded in a specific order (it's in a README file). You should also hunt up and download the latest SB Pro drivers.
One thing to look at is the Sound Blaster Pro Mixer in Windows. Make sure the Volume slide controls are locked and both channels are set the same.
