John, Development did not intentionally design DTS NOT to work with NT. It was designed specifically for standard windows. We intend to be compatible with Win95(?). Dean Okna Tech

The product was not designed for NT. It's a choice that development has made. Dean Okna Tech
#Patch #2 for 4.1b
Message #71976
The second patch for 4.1b has just been uploaded to CompuServe, and will probably appear later today. It will fix problems associated with Calendar alarms, including alarmed events overwriting each other. If you downloaded 4.1b in Februrary, you will need to have installed Patch 1 for this patch to work…
Art, Let's give it another try and see if we can get you up and running. If the following does not work, then send us a copy of both your \deskapp and \desktop directories, as well as your MSD file. In a previous message you said, you opened the calendar…
Herb, Try changing the end range to 12/31/99. Dean Okna Tech
Steven, Did you try to create an entirely new envelope style? Go to file/print setup/envelope addresses, and make sure that the merge fields are filled in the address boxes. Also, make sure that there are spaces between fields. Make sure that you have selected the proper address in the envelope…
Louis , Point well taken Dean Okna Tech
Joe, I would actually check with Supra to see which of the modems that we have listed is most compatible with the model you are going to purchase. They will also most likely be able to tell you the init strings for caller ID etc. Dean Okna Tech P.S. I'm…
Bill, DTS is not currently compatible with the HP200. We are working on a link for the HP100. Dean Okna Tech
Kenneth, The development team is working on it. We hope in the next several weeks. Dean Okna Tech
Pasquale, We are still working on the import function; look for patches on-line in the next several weeks. Dean Okna Tech
Bill, Have you tried changing the dialing format for the individual numbers to long distance? Dean Okna Tech
Sandy, You need to insert the tilde as an ascii character, refer to your dos manual for more information. I believe that you place the cursor where you want the tilde to appear, hold down the alt key and type the number 126. Dean Okna Tech
Richard, Ok, keep me posted. Dean Okna Tech
Craig, Are you having problems with incoming or outgoing calls? You need caller ID hardware to recognize an incoming call. Dean Okna Tech
James, I am sending a fax regarding your other question. What was the date on the files that you downloaded? If not 2/27, then also download and run patch1.exe. Dean Okna Tech
Eric, Please clarify wahat you mean by an ODBC driver. You can currently attach a file to a record in DTS. Dean Okna Tech
Eric, The update is now available on-line. Disks will be available in approx. 4-6 weeks. Dean Okna Tech
It sounds like you went to remind/ call. Try going to Remind/ Enter Event. Let us know if you have additional problems. Dean Okna Tech

William, Download the installation instructions update.txt from the forum. The readme file is compressed and can only be accessed after install. Dean Okna Tech
Barry, We will have to report this to Konstantin and Development for a suggestion. You may want to restore an older backup or reinstall your older version of DTS in order to access your calendar. Dean Okna Tech
Herb, You will need to reset the recurring events after 1997. Dean Okna Tech
You're welcome. Dean Okna Tech

David, We have had similar reports with the update. Which version of DTS do you have? If it is the original upgrade, then also download the patch. Are you running calendar in start-up or overnight? This may cause problems. Disks will be available once all patches are complete for 4.1b.…
Joseph, Try the following init string. AT&F&C1&D2L3M2 Dean Okna Tech
Steven, Make sure that you have selected fonts and sizes for the addresses, and then use the test function on an 8 1/2 x 11 page and adjust the margins accordingly. Dean Okna Tech
Ed, Unfortuneately, this is a known bug in DTS. The print driver is being redesigned for the major update, and will hopefully solve this problem. You can put a manual return in your notes to prevent them form running over. Dean Okna Tech
John, There is not a say to suppress the logo, but I will make development aware of the problem/suggestion. Dean Okan Tech
Ken, It is not designed that way, but I will make sure that your suggestion is forwarded to development for future consideration. Dean Okna Tech
Herb, I don' t think that there will be any interim patches available to fix this particular problem. There is a somewhat complicated, and inconvenient work-around that involves manipulating your system date. If you would like more information, let me know. Dean Okna Tech
Doug, Good suggestion, I will forward it to development for consideration. Dean Okna Tech
Tim, From address book, go to file/utiliteis/file doctor and run this with all four options checked. This will usually solve your problem. Dean Okan Tech
Gary, Send us the install disks for that individual and we will replace them with new ones and instructions about how to fix the problem. If you have copies with unique serial numbers on the network, then you should be able to access both calendar and address book. Install your…
David, The only time that you get the select page entry box is when you initially create the record. Make sure that quick search is not activated and simply edit the text directly on the address book page. Dean Okan Tech
Zack, Please contact Ken Masker in our sales department at 201-909-8600 for more information regarding upgrading to 4.1a. Dean Okna Tech
We have had similar reports. Did you download the updated 2/27 or the previous. If the previous, then also download the patch1.exe file. Whom did you speak with regarding the refund? Emily in Customer Service usually handes this. Dean Okna Tech
Victor, See Martine's response under a different cover. Dean Okna Tech

Mike, You're Welcome. Dean
Victor, In version 4.1b, which is available on the forum for download, cloned entries will appear in dark gray type as opposed to black. When you delete the original entry, the clone will remain. If the original or clone is edited, the change will appear in the other. If edits…

Copy files to DTS
Message #70080
Kenneth, You only need the Q&A files if you had version 4.0; they were not included in older versions of DTS. The other file is not one of ours; we have not tested it in 4.1b. You may want to consult the programmer. 4.1b has built in macros for integration…
