I haven't followed the entire thread on this… have we (being subscribers) received the last issue, or is it yet to come? (I just received April about a week and a half ago.)
Me again…
Message #43483
O.K… part 2 of my problem. To summarize the beginning: I downloaded an ANIM file from a bulletin board. It was LZH compressed. I decompressed and it's about 800+k in length. I have tried every method I can to play it, with the following results: DPaint – Loads the first…

My Animation instructor gave me an old A2000 keyboard… which didn't work… . If there is no monitor attached, my kid won't go near it! at 13 months he figured out he can make the mouse pointer move by being nice to it, rather than slamming it around! Chris -…
Ah-Ha! Viewtek! I can't download it! It gives me a file not found error! I'll try again in hands-on mode… thanks!
I D/L'ed View 3.6 and it too does not work. It says it's an IFF of unknown format, and proceeds to knock my cursor out of commision. (If will only travel half of the visible screen after I try to load the program.) SuperView and the older SV both load…
No I haven't… is it shareware? If so (or not) where can I find it?
Lessee…. Video out on the VCR to the input of the D/V. Pretty simple, but I'm running a poorly shielded cable from the VCR to the D/V over about 8-10 feet of living room. (That could be _MY_ problem…) It starts digitizing and and random points it will abort with…
#HAM Anims
Message #43259
I'm trying to find a player for HAM Anims… Anyone have any idea what might play them? (PPShow, RTAP, and DPaint (Non-AGA) all choke on it. DP and RTAP will load the first frame and stop, PPShow says it can't play "ANIM Op 74 Animations") Thanks in advance…
Even if it's hooked up, your video source must be on for it to register. However, my VCR also caused similar messages when hooked up also… it would be right in the middle of digitizing and the NO VIDEO requester would pop up.
I'm sure Billy-Boy revamps the definition weekly to make sure is Environment of the week looks good! Chris – Fast and Low on my '020! Anyone know where I can get some old "Paper Lace" 45's?

I'll atest to the quality of the expansion board… (before your modifications!) I'm using the same beast in my A1200 with a 4meg SIMM (Not math C/P yet). It works great. Chris – Fast and Low on my '020! Anyone know where I can get some old "Paper Lace" 45's?

Stereo .WAV
Message #42821
Hall-ooooo!!!!! I think we're the only two in here. SoundMachine (SMACH.LHA) will convert Ami from/to .WAV. But only mono .WAV.
Nuttin' but good things to say about AmigaMan. The tell you when something ISN'T in stock before you order, and they ship rather quickly as well. My one encounter with Customer Support was top-notch as well. I recommend them highly. Chris – Fast and Low on my '020! Virus Scan:…

Good deal… thanks for the info. I want it primarily for a CD-Rom and a tape back up. Does it have a "splitter" that allows me to plug my IDE internal back in after the SCSI+ takes up the header, or do I need to get one? Chris – Fast…
Your best bet for A1000 upgrades would be the Amazing Computer resource guide that they publish once a year (I believe, they may pub it more often). By flipping through there you can find just about anything and everything that the A1000 can still get hold of. (Which isn't a…

Has anyone tried the DataFlyer SCSI+ adapter yet? (It's the SCSI adapter that plugs in to the IDE header and gives you access to 5 SCSI peripherals.) Chris – Fast and Low on my '020! Virus Scan: MS-Windows Detected. Delete (y/Y)?

Does anyone know of a stereo WAV player for the Amy? (Or can we only do Mono?) SoundMach only plays mono. Thanks!
I worked for MCS in Michigan for about a week, and left for that very reason. I had a guy call me with a defective GoldStar monitor, and we wouldn't accept it without an RA, which had to be given by one of the owner/managers. While that particular O/M was…
Grapevine (in my encounters) struck me as the type of company that suffers from multiple personalities. It depends on who takes your order, and who helps you if you have a problem. I ordered a 16mhz 68000 from them, and after it had been 2 weeks late, I called to…
On that note, what happened to the little "fine print" line in AW that actually LISTED seedy or unreliable advertisers? I noticed that it's been gone for awhile. That was a pretty nice little safety measure for us MO consumers… Chris – Fast and Low on my '020! Virus Scan:…

I beleive the A4000 uses 72 pin 1×32 SIMMS… same as the Macintosh. Memory Express carries them (That's where I got mine), just be sure that you get a 1×32 and _NOT_ the 1×36. Chris – Fast and Low on my '020! Virus Scan: MS-Windows Detected. Delete (y/Y)?
Never saw them… Although I did know that Bruce Campbell had a pretty big B film career. I'm ticked however that Fox has decided not to renew BCJr for next season. They did give it a better chance than they gave Key West tho… (Another great show down the idiot…
Well, since a cased A1200 is projected to cost less than a 4000, and the 2/3000 doesn't have AGA (especially at a reasonable price) I don't think my decision to buy an A1200 was a bad one. However, the only thing I really want for my A1200 is an Emplant…

According to AmigaWorld (a few months back) there is a company that has designed a tower case and keyboard for the A500/1000 and they are supposedly working on an A1200 version. (This may have changed in light of Commodore developments however) They also have a product which allows you to…
