Message #8628
Randy: I'm not on this forum very often, what with running a business and all, but I'm glad to see your represented here. Brian S. said he was sending me a copy of PW so I could set it up for use with our LazerXpress printer. I `ain't seen nuttin'…

VPrinter_1.14
Message #8626
Ernie: LazerXpress_1.14 expects to find a CLtd Laser printer and will bomb out if it isn't there, even if you specify `disable' printer in LPERF. Vprinter_1.14 is supplied so that you can send output to the VP with out a Laser Printer in your system, for example: the LazesXpress is…
LXP/WP
Message #8625
? Ernie: The LazerXpress only prints on 64 lines of each page, WP expects 66 so, reset the page size (within WP) to 64 lines, or increase LWP's page size to 66 by betting LPREF's lines per page function to 3301. E.J. Lippert II C Ltd. – (316) 267-0202

Message #8624
Bill: It took me 4 full days to figure out the strucure of the WP PRT files. (WP will provide no information on them to developers!) And yes, you can patch into existing WP Printer.PRT and Font.PRT files, but it is a pain in the A__. First you need to…
Bill: Try to access the Hard Drive from the A-1000 this will tell you if the SCSI/1000 is o.k. If it is, and if you can talk to the HD then the cable must be at fault. E.J. Lippert II C Ltd. – (316) 267-0202

It is a hand scanner, the user selectable 100, 200, 300 and 400 dpi. The path is right at four inches. If a four inch path will allow you enough freedom, it would be the add-on to get.

The Hand-y-Scanner is a hand held b/w 4 inch scanner. It will run at 100/200/300/400 dpi. It dumps its info into a Virtual Page and can be manipulated from there. The suggested retail will be under $400.00 and should be a nice alternative to the full page scanners. At present…
Robert, The choice is left to you on the FFS vs OFS. If you plan to autoboot a small OFS partion is in order. If not, then you can FFS the whole drive or partitions. Autoboot is nice, however, I elected to FFS all partions for myself at home. I…
Bruno, Either drive may be used. However the ST277R would require and additional card. My suggestion is the ST277N-0, or the ST277N-1. The -1 is a faster drive. Both models will serve you well. You don't need a bridge card to operate any dri=s the Amiga side of the A2000.…

Tom, Will check it out. Fred –
Larry, Ron was `right on the money' with his reply. DevInstall really is not the problem. Please make sure on the copy from 1.3 to your hard drive as well as your copy you used with your boot disk was done with the 1.3 copy and use the option "clone"…

Mike, Thanks for the information, a new cable was sent to you yesterday UPS-RED. I know, I hand carried it to shipping, packed it and sent it on its way. You should be getting it, 01/04/89, and a few other things as well. Glad to get the situation cleared up.…
Betty, You have a valid point. Will correct the files and resend them. Thanks for the advice. Fred –

C-View I Cable
Message #4279
The C-View was not created with the idea of a short cut on the cost of a RGB monitor. It was designed as a stop gap measure for people upgrading from a system where they owned a reasonable composite or chroma/luma style monitor. If they did not have the bucks…

We had the same type of results in our tests also, We decided that the normal person reads more than her writes, thats why we think an interleave of 2 is best fpr the seagate. Glad you got it up and running, Have Fun! Charlie

I would bet that in your startup-sequence you have ENDCLI > nil:, Take that out and should work fine. As for the way timesaver spits out the date, thats the way Amigados needs it.
