Dennis, I, too, have an NEC 3D (you said "3Ds"–was that a slip?). I just installed a Diamond Viper card and find that I can no longer use 1024x768x256 for the Main-Display (as I could with my old Video7 VRAM II). Can you "do" 1024x768x256 with the Graphite?
I was using the WordPerfect Editor. It's been around for years–now comes as part of WordPerfect Office. I also found that doing a Save of my file with the R3 Text Editor caused the deletion of the last line–apparently it just doesn't _see_ it.

I think Mitchell is talking about something a little different. During a rendering (with the built-in VGA320x200 driver), press . The "Rendering in Progress" panel disappears and the current frame in process is displayed. The colors are not normalized, but they look pretty good. But when THIS frame is finished…

The problem is Vibrant's driver. I experienced it last fall with version 2.1.0 and reported it to their telephone tech rep. He sent me version 2.1.3 a week or so later with the fix. I recently received 2.1.5 which fixes the missing-icon-colors problem, and the prompt is still OK.
