Yes, Commodore told me that when they came to repair it… I thought I had a problem (with only my system.) But, it turns out it is with all. They told me the new system software will fix it…We'll see I probably won't get the ROMS installed until late January…

Mark, I bought an 8 ohm speaker from Radio Shack and just hooked the baby up to the two jumper pins at the top of the BB and everything worked fine. You must have a very good connection for it to work. Hope this helps… -Tim
