Rick, Thanks for the help. I think the ibm machine has Photo Shop, but the guy running it wasn't too sure about wether or not it could read Framestore. The problem with most IBM people is that as soon as you mention something other than IBM, especially Amiga, they tend…

>>I wonder, though, if you've really saved off a good IFF copy of your fax. IFFs are smaller than the fax files they are created from. However, a typical fax file will run as large as 100K, as I recollect. If you're saving out a page as an IFF, I…

#46207 AP Scripts Message #46221
From: George Morrison Amiga Tech Forum · ARexx March 21, 1995 1:29 PM
Johannes; Thanks for the reply. Those extra lines look like they would work. I haven't done much with the scripts lately, but watching AP go through it's stuff I starting thinking about something with "SET PAGED NO", and probably "SET WIDTH 77" might help. (maybe not in BILLING but in…

Gregory; I have an old 500 which I guess is ECS. I will have a look for FASTGIF and FASTVIEW, I assume they are on CIS somewhere. Is there different types of GIF, I wonder why some can be imported into PP4.1 and others cant. Thanks for your help, George

#182998 Amiga and Compuserve? Message #183153
From: George Morrison Amiga User Forum · Communications January 25, 1995 10:15 PM
Dan; Everyones beaten me to the punch. I'm glad you decided to get 14,4 thats what I have although we still only have 9600 here as the fastest. Sooner or later I'm sure we'll get something faster as I'm sure you will. Have fun; George
From: George Morrison Amiga User Forum · Communications January 24, 1995 1:16 PM
Dan; Get AutoPilot for accessing Compuserve, its well worth it. Also I would look for a 9600 Baud modem, I strted CIS with a 2400 and it took forever to DL programs. George
