John, I just caught this string. If your problem lies within the copy-protection of either DMCS or SS another approach is to remove it with Marauder II. It works on both-so long as you re-install SS. It won't stop SS from opening, but it might stop the Guru. Barry

I don't think you remember trying it. This package most definitely isn't written in BASIC (unless it's compiled). You get about a dozen versions, from single-density narrow carriage to enhanced quad-density quick plot wide carriage, and you just use the one you want for your application. Rick
