Well put, Joe! It strikes me that the only non-arbitrary definition of broadcast quality is what the FCC will allow to be broadcast (without fining you!) — ie. RS-170 compliant signal, especially 7.5 IRE set up, 100 IRE peaks, and the timing right. Bob
