I can confirm that if you use a .3ds file from the WCTK to produce an image or animation, you don't have to provide credit to the original source. – G
To clarify, there are zero restrictions on how an artist can use the .3ds files and texture maps on the WCTK in their work. Of course, reselling those files doesn't fall into that category. – G
