I suggest picking up a program from Symantic called Speed Cache + or Speed Disk (same program, just a name change). This can signifigantly improve CD-ROM access speeds and also will speed up your hard drive accesses.
John, If the suggestions you have already received fail you should get Quaterdeck's QEMM 7.0 as that can provide more high memory than the memory manager that comes with DOS 6.0 can provide.
